Weekend catch-up

It wasn't our easiest weekend.

Van has recently started voicing his displeasure when something is taken away from him that he shouldn't have, or when you stop him from going somewhere that he shouldn't go. This displeasure is a high pitched squeal that is not at all pleasant.

We are generally pretty relaxed about what he can have and where he can go, tending to only stop him from having something or going somewhere if it is potentially dangerous or he can break it; so this new 'skill' that he has learnt is testing us, because even with his mini-meltdown he isn't going to get whatever it is he is pining over.

That said, it wasn't all squealing - we still had some fun!

1. No, that was not his coffee.

2. Yes, he is trying to escape at the football (which we had to leave at half-time because he spat the dummy)
