Today was the first day since my stay-at-home Dad duties began that I have had some free time to work on my new business. My wife spent the morning with the little man and he spent the afternoon with one of his Grandmothers (the Nan's were keen to have an afternoon of baby-sitting each week). This allowed me a basically solid day of work.
Today was the first day since my stay-at-home Dad duties began that I have had some free time to work on my new business. My wife spent the morning with the little man and he spent the afternoon with one of his Grandmothers (the Nan's were keen to have an afternoon of baby-sitting each week). This allowed me a basically solid day of work.
I got to have breakfast and a walk with the missus and Dudes, before they went off to a parents group and left me to work. We got to have lunch together and I had an hour or so of play time with Dudes before he was off to Nan-Nan's place and I was left with more business time. Lunch was a little different as we are still finishing off the leftover cake from Van's birthday...he still loves the cake!
We also got to spend a brief time on my latest birthday present of a bike seat (how my presents have changed!). We only did a couple of laps of the street, but it shows a lot of promise and Dudes seemed to really enjoy it. We should get a proper go at it on Friday and I'll let you know how it goes.
Anyway - back to work!
